Hey everyone!
How everyone know, this year (2020) have been rare in many senses, and one of those have been the pandemic and it consequences: the online classes. how you know in my other posts, this year was my first year of (online) college, but this year was not what I expected .
I was expecting for the mechón activities or do the every things that the university people do. Also, I feel that I didn’t get out of school and I didn’t enter to the college either, but im in college. HAHA:(
The online classes was a good option (and the only one) to avoid a covid-19 infection, and it worked to be with the family. However, anyone was ready for a big change. Some people had to buy a new computer or a tablet for the classes or get a better net. The university was not ready for the online classes, because they gave us to read long books, and not everyone can print the books. Also the classes was very long and everyone have many distractions at home.
At April, i was afraid, because I wanted to know how were they going to be the exams, because, first, I didn’t know the university’s exams and, second, I don’t know how they’re going to do the exams in pandemic. Although, this year I had 4 test, the rest was essays and expositions.
On the other hand, I think that the hardest part was meet my classmate. In the first semester, I was a little shy trying to meet the others, I met to one or two people. I didn’t know how interact with them. But the 2nd semester, I tried to meet more people, and I think that it worked. I don't have a friends group but I met more people. The next week, we're going to go to the university. I’m so exiting. I have only been there once and it was when I had to do the english diagnostic test. But I’m going to meet the campus Juan Gómez Milla and my virtual classmates.
Well, this year is going to end and the question now is: Did we learn something this year?
I think that I learnt many things, some of them I already knew and others I improved.
This year I had 10 subjects, but two of them I think that are essential to the following years, the first one is reporting workshop or language or writing where I learned to write news and I didn’t know that it was so hard. And the second one is english, because I could improve it compared with the last year.
I expect that the next year, we can go to the university and we can back to the life before the pandemic

I am very sorry that you had your first year online, I hope you can have face-to-face classes because it is not the same, I feel that I did not learn anything this year

ReplyDeleteAll tasks have been effectively uploaded.
On the whole the biggest issue to keep on improving is adequacy of lexical items since at times, they may confuse reader.
It has been clear that the biggest improvement, along the writing process, has been related to text structure, however, grammar range and correction need to be worked out, especially in terms of subejct-verb agreement.
